South Korean mixed martial arts (MMA) sensation Chansung “The Korean Zombie” Jung, 36, 섯다 is set for a highly
anticipated showdown with UFC featherweight No. 1 Max Holloway, 31 (USA).
The two fighters will square off in the main event of UFC Fight Night: Holloway vs.
Korean Zombie on Nov. 26 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
It’s a dream matchup that Chung has long envisioned. Chung has long admired Holloway,
the “Hawaiian Zombie,” as a fighter who fights as tough as he does.
However, despite competing in the same organization and weight class for over 11 years,
they never had the opportunity to fight. Frustrated, Chung demanded a fight after Dan Ige’s (32-USA) fight in 2021, saying “Holloway doesn’t have punching power”.
