The professional basketball team ‘Goyang Sono Sky Gunners’
was officially founded and took its first steps as the youngest club in the KBL.
Sono held its founding ceremony at the Sono Calm Goyang Grand Ballroom in Gyeonggi Province on the morning of the 20th.
The basketball team, which confirmed the team name ‘Sono Sky Gunners’ by adding ‘Sky Gunners’,
formed a team centered around CEO Lee Kwang-soo,
general manager Lee Ki-wan and coach Kim Seung-gi.

received approval to join the KBL last July and prepared
for its founding by taking over the Goyang Day One basketball team for the 2022-2023 season.

was expelled from the KBL in June after suffering from financial difficulties.
Sono general manager Lee Ki-wan dispelled the concerns of those around him,
saying, unlike Day One, who barely paid the KBL membership fee on time both times,
