Hwang Yu-min, who won the domestic opening match of the 2024 Korea Ladies Professional Golf (KLPGA) Tour, rose to No. 40 in the world rankings, her highest in her career.

Hwang Yu-min received a rating of 2.06 in the women’s golf world rankings announced on the 9th, rising 23 places from last week (63rd) to 40th. Yumin Hwang won the Doosan Construction Weave Championship, which ended on the 7th, giving her the second win of her career and also ranking her first in money and grand prize points this season.

Yumin Hwang, in her second year on the regular tour, won the Daeyu Winia MBN Women’s Open last year when she was a rookie, putting her in the top 100 for the first time, where she was ranked 98th.
