Professional volleyball Woori Card recruits Hagparast as the first pick in the Asian quarter

Professional volleyball Woori Card secured the first pick in the 2024 men’s Asian quarter tryout and recruited outside hitter (left striker) Ali Hagparast (Iran).

Woori Card received the first pick through a lottery at the Asia Quarter Draft held at the Sun Hotel in Jeju City, Jeju on the 3rd.

Woori Card called Hagparast, a 194cm wing spiker born in 2004.

OK Financial Group, which received the second pick, recruited China’s outside heater Zhang Binglong (196 cm), and KB Insurance, which received the third pick, recruited Australian outside heater Max Staples (193 cm).

Korean Air, the protagonist of a combined 4-game losing streak, named Iran’s Apogit spiker Aref Moradi (197 cm), and Korea Electric Power Corporation named Japan’s setter Nakano Yamato.

Except for KEPCO, all professional volleyball teams strengthened their strength with wing spikers.

Meanwhile, all Asian quarter players who played in the V-League in the 2023-2024 season failed to renew their contracts.
