Bae So-hyun took sole possession of the lead after the second round of the KLPGA Tour’s E1 Charity Open.
Bae So-hyun carded eight birdies and two bogeys to shoot 6-under par in the second round of the tournament at 메이저 토토사이트 Ferrum Club (Par 72) in Yeoju, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.
After starting the day on the 10th hole, Bae birdied four consecutive holes from 11th through 14th to reach 4-under par on the front, and added two more on the back.
Bae, who was tied for fifth at 3-under par on the first day, posted a 9-under total to move into sole possession of the lead, two strokes ahead of tied for second place Lee Chae-eun and Hwang Jung-mi.
Bae, who has yet to win since making her full-time tour debut in 2017, will be looking for her first career victory.
Park Min-ji, who was tied for the lead on the first day, dropped one stroke to fall to 4-under par and tied for sixth place.
With 18 career wins on the KLPGA’s regular tour, Park has amassed more than 5.75 billion won in career earnings, and even an eighth-place finish would move her past Jang Hana to the top of the career earnings list.
Defending champion Bang Shin-sil, who won her debut at this event last year, dropped one stroke to finish in a tie for 19th place at even par.
The tournament, which has a total prize pool of 900 million won and a first-place prize of 162 million won, will continue with three rounds until tomorrow (Sunday).
