Woo-Seok Ko gives up one home run and two runs on four hits in 2 1/3 innings at Triple-A

Woo-seok Ko, 25, gave up his second home run in the minor leagues.

The right-handed reliever for the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, the Triple-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins of Major League Baseball, gave up two runs on four hits (one home run) with one walk and two strikeouts in two innings of work against the Triple-A Charlotte Knights of the Chicago White Sox at 121 Financial Ballpark in Jacksonville, Florida, on Tuesday (Feb. 2).

His minor league season ERA rose from 3.00 to 3.60.

He was the team’s third pitcher to enter the game in the bottom of the seventh inning, trailing 2-4, and gave up a mid-month double to Wilmer Difo with the bases loaded.

On a one-pitch, one-strike count, his 142 mph cut fastball was driven into the middle of the plate and Defoe couldn’t miss.

It was the second time Koo had given up a home run in the minors, the first coming on May 23 against the Memphis Redbirds (St. Louis Cardinals).

He then gave up back-to-back singles to load the bases with 1.2 outs, but narrowly avoided further damage by striking out Brian Ramos on a wild pitch.

He returned to the mound in the eighth inning and gave up a single to Rafael Ortega to left field, but was able to get out of the inning with a double play to end the threat.

Go threw a total of 38 pitches on the day, with his fastball topping out at 150 kilometers per hour. 토토사이트 순위
