LEE KANG-IN’S LIGUE 1 DEBUT GOAL VOTED PSG’S ‘GOAL OF NOVEMBER’

Golden boy Lee Kang-in has been named the “November Goal of the Month” by Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).The club announced on Twitter on Nov. 1 (KST) that Lee’s goal against Montpellier in the regular season was voted as the “Goal of the Month” by fans. Kylian Mbappe (against Reims), Ousmane Dembele, and Vitinha (against Monaco) were all nominated, but Lee’s goal was selected with a majority of 59% of the votes. Mbappe’s goal received 18.3% of the votes and Dembele’s 16.9%, a far cry from Lee’s goal .Lee scored a cool left-footed strike in the 10th minute of PSG’s Ligue 1 11th round home match against Montpellier on March 4 to lead the way in a 3-0 win.

Lee picked up the ball unguarded in front of the penalty area and struck a powerful left-footed shot into the top corner of the goal to make it 1-0 .It was Lee’s Ligue 1 debut in a PSG shirt ahead of the season .Lee had previously scored his PSG debut against AC Milan (Italy) in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) and his first goal in France against Montpellier .Lee has one goal and one assist in six Ligue 1 games this season .His UCL tally is two goals and one assist in all competitions.
