V-League’s Hankook Power snaps 7-game winning streak, jumps to 3rd place

Professional volleyball team Suwon KEPCO leapfrogged into third place with a seven-game winning streak.

KEPCO, which has been on an uneventful run since the second round of the Dodram 2023-2024 V-League, extended its winning streak to seven games with a 3-0 (25-22 25-21 25-22) sweep of 현금홀덤사이트 Daejeon Samsung Fire on Monday at Chungmu Gymnasium in Daejeon, thanks to an even performance that saw four players score in double digits.

With the win, KEPCO improves to 8-6, 24 points and leapfrogs Samsung Fire (9-5, 23 points) from fifth to third place.

In the first set, KEPCO scored five consecutive points to take a 20-22 lead and quickly took control of the set, before taking the second set 25-21 behind the efforts of Tice, Park Chan-woong, and Lim Sung-jin.

With the victory in hand, KEPCO closed out the match with ease in the third set 22-20, capitalizing on a quick opener by Taith, a hard hit by Lim Sung-jin, and an error on the opponent’s serve.

Meanwhile, in the women’s match at Gwangju Pepper Stadium, Daejeon Jungkwanjang defeated Gwangju Pepper Savings Bank in three sets (25-23 22-25 25-16 25-19) to claim three points.
